Hello, this is my first post on this website. I created this site for my spring 2008 class, Design for Publications. I’m currently a junior in the Journalism and Public Communications program at the University of Alaska Anchorage, focusing in Strategic Communications. I’m not completely positive of where I would like to go with my degree, right now i’m just taking it one day at a time and graduation is a goal enough for me. I chose Strategic Communications becasue I like how it incoroprates many different facets of the media (advertising, broadcast, print, and even marketing.) It works for me because sometimes it seems that I am too scatterbrained to focus on one thing and one thing only, which happens to not be a horrible thing seeing that specialization in the media is becoming less important and more obsolete. Ok, thats enough for now.
